Thank you for viewing my page! My name is Katie and I'm an agent with
Bob Parks Realty. While I am relatively new to Bob Parks, I have been involved
in Real Estate my whole life. I grew up in Franklin, during which time
my family bought and sold many houses, as well as invested in rental
properties. I was always involved in those, and they were happy to help
me when I bought my first piece of property while attending MTSU.
After graduating, I had a few jobs, but quickly realized that my calling
was Real Estate. So I got my RE license, and I've been a full time
agent ever since!
I am involved in nearly all aspects of RE,
and that's what I think you should look for in your agent. Whether it's
buying your first home, buying a house that's ready to move in, a
"fixer upper" foreclosure, or even your first investment property, I can
navigate you through the complexities of finding the right deals,
getting financing, rehabbing, renting, or even reselling your next
"flip". I deal with banks, builders, rehabbers, landlords, tenants,
contractors, and other agents on a daily basis, and I absolutely LOVE
finding deals.
It is a buyer's market right now, and that
has it's advantages and disadvantages. If you are a buyer looking to
purchase a home, you will have tons of options. There are deals to be
had in nearly every facet of residential real estate right now. If you
are looking for a builder, foreclosure, a short sale, or even a house
that's move in ready, your dollar will go a LONG way!
If you
are considering selling, don't be discouraged by my claim that we are in
a buyer's market. There are still plenty of homes selling, but you may
need to adjust your expectations if you haven't been keeping up with
the middle TN real estate market over the last few years. While sales
have slowed, days on market have risen, and average sales price is down a
bit, that doesn't mean your home won't sell. It may, however, mean a
fresh coat of paint, $250 for some landscaping, and some time staging
the home to get the price you want in the time-frame you expect.
